Glaucoma is a condition associated with a loss of vision and damage to the optic nerve. The optic nerve carries visual messages to the brain. Increased pressure in the fluid system of the eye is thought to gradually damage the optic nerve, which results in a slow, steady loss of vision. These are the Glaucoma drugs available on C-DAP. |

Depression is a mood disorder that causes symptoms such as low energy, prolonged sadness or irritability, and lack of interest in daily activities. It can be triggered by a chemical imbalance or stressful emotional situations. Depression seems to run in families and may be triggered by lack of social support and tends to recur.

When blood flow to an area of the heart is decreased, it impairs the delivery of oxygen and vital nutrients to the heart muscle cells. When this happens, the heart muscle must use alternative, less efficient forms of fuel so that it can perform its function of pumping blood to the body. These are the Angina/Left ventricular failure drugs available on C-DAP. |

Rheumatoid arthritis is a relatively common disease of the joints . In rheumatoid arthritis, the membranes or tissues ( synovial membranes) lining the joints become inflamed (synovitis). Over time, the inflammation may destroy the joint tissues, leading to disability. Rheumatoid arthritis affects women twice as often as men, and frequently begins between the ages of 30 and 50.

Hypertension or High Blood Pressure, medical condition in which constricted arterial blood vessels increase the resistance to blood flow, causing an increase in blood pressure against vessel walls. These are the Hypertension drugs available on C-DAP. |

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia occurs
when the hormone testosterone which produced mainly by the testicles is necessary for BPH to develop. Men who have their testicles removed before puberty never develop BPH. Men who have their testicles removed after puberty (but before they have symptoms of BPH) rarely develop the disease. Men who are older than 50 have a higher risk of developing the disease than men younger than 50.

Diabetes Mellitus, disease in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin, a hormone that helps the body's tissues absorb glucose (sugar) so it can be used as a source of energy. The condition may also develop if muscle, fat, and liver cells respond poorly to insulin. These are the Diabetes drugs available on C-DAP. |

Asthma is a disease of the respiratory system that involves inflammation of the bronchial tubes, or airways, which carry air to the lungs. The airways overreact to substances that causes allergic reactions to smoke, cold air, or other environmental factors. This reaction causes the airways to narrow, leading to difficult breathing . |
